Acupuncture can be used for the treatment of common ailments such as pain, fatigue, headaches, cold and flu, insomnia, anxiety/depression, as well as some not so common issues such as physical and/or emotional traumas. Furthermore, Acupuncture may be used as an adjunct therapy with Western Medicine diagnoses and treatments for such things as high blood pressure, infertility, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.
Acupuncture is not a one treatment cure all; It works best with consistency. After all, most disease processes take awhile to manifest, so one cannot expect one treatment to “fix” or reverse processes that have been manifesting for months or even years. Treatment are designed to support the person’s mental, emotional and physical needs by way of chemical and physical changes of the body over time.
Acupuncture is scientifically based in Physics, as resonant energy medicine. Meaning, in short, all matter contains energy and emits frequencies. Homeostasis equates to all frequencies being in balance. When there is disharmony of the frequencies, in the body, diseases states manifest. As such, disease can be defined as DIS- EASE= NOT AT EASE. For example, autoimmune disease can be translated as the immune system is NOT AT EASE. Acupuncture is used to “tune” the frequencies of the body and relieve the DIS-EASE to eventually harmonize and balance your body’s energy system. Kinda of like “tuning” a car for performance, or a musical instrument for it to make the right notes, and sounds (aka. frequencies).
