Meet your Practitioner
With more than 30 years of experience in health, wellness, and human performance, I bring a comprehensive and integrative approach to helping clients move better, recover faster, and live with less pain.
My educational background includes a Master's Degree in Chinese Medicine and Herbal Medicine from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture (2019), a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University (2010), and training in neuromuscular massage therapy at Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (1996). I am also a certified yoga instructor, and these combined disciplines have given me a unique perspective on tissue health, movement, recovery, and performance.
Since opening my practice in 1998, I have focused on understanding how tissue function impacts every aspect of movement. Whether you're a professional athlete, weekend warrior, or simply looking to move without pain, the health of your soft tissue plays a critical role in performance and quality of life. When tissue becomes restricted, adhered, or loses its ability to recruit efficiently, movement patterns suffer, performance declines, and unnecessary pain often follows.
My work centers on restoring tissue health, improving mobility and flexibility, enhancing recovery, and optimizing functional movement. By addressing the root causes of dysfunction, I help clients alleviate pain, improve muscle pliability and recruitment, and achieve higher levels of performance and well-being.
A significant chapter of my career included three years working within the training facility of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Even after leaving the facility, I have continued working with professional and competitive athletes, helping them maintain peak performance and recover from the demands of high-level competition.
My passion for tissue health and human performance began through my own experience as a competitive fitness and bodybuilding athlete. Those years taught me firsthand that regardless of the sport or activity you pursue, your body can only perform as well as your tissues allow. Healthy, resilient tissue is the foundation of strength, movement, recovery, and longevity.
A lifelong resident of St. Augustine, I enjoy spending time at the beach, practicing yoga and meditation, paddleboarding, and embracing the outdoor lifestyle that makes our community so special. Above all, I am proud to be the mother of an incredible daughter who continually inspires me and reminds me every day what it means to grow, learn, and become a better human being.
Your Functional Health
Functional Health: Move Better, Perform Stronger, Recover Faster
Functional health focuses on helping your body work the way it was designed to—efficiently, comfortably, and with purpose. By combining movement, performance, recovery, and pain relief strategies, functional health supports your ability to live, work, and play at your highest potential.
Movement is the foundation. Improving mobility, stability, flexibility, and movement patterns helps you build strength, prevent injury, and move with confidence in everyday life.
Performance goes beyond exercise. Whether you're an athlete, a fitness enthusiast, or simply want more energy for daily activities, targeted training and personalized wellness strategies help optimize strength, endurance, balance, and overall physical function.
Recovery is where progress happens. Effective recovery techniques support the body's natural healing processes, reduce fatigue, improve resilience, and prepare you for the demands of training and daily life.
Pain Relief addresses the root causes of discomfort rather than simply masking symptoms. Through movement-based therapies, corrective exercise, and evidence-informed approaches, functional health aims to reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life.
When movement, performance, recovery, and pain relief work together, you create a stronger, healthier body that is prepared for whatever life demands.
Move better. Perform stronger. Recover smarter. Live healthier.
